Jerome and Kevin Present – Episode 1: Barry (Season 1)

As Jerome and Kevin bide their time until Better Call Saul Season 6, they turn to a show that in some respects is a “reverse Breaking Bad.” HBO’s dark comedy “Barry” explores the life of a bored assassin whose lust for a “regular” life is sparked by a visit to Los Angeles, and (some very dark) hilarity ensues!

Jerome and Kevin discuss Bill Hader, how they discovered the show, and go through the first Season episode by episode. Throughout the discussion they sing the praises of Henry Winkler, Stephen Root, D’Arcy Carden and Anthony Carrigan, talk about how some of the more understated acting makes for the best moments, and the problematic nature of some character choices, especially with hindsight!
