Mike & Matt dust off the flagship podcast at long last, but not for Legion Season 3 as long-promised because New Mutants finally came out… a year ago!

Matt details the extensive production troubles, the initial plans for sequels, and the duo get into the unfinished feel of the film and reflect on the Fox era of X-Men for the 45th time.

Jerome and Kevin Present – Episode 1: Barry (Season 1)

As Jerome and Kevin bide their time until Better Call Saul Season 6, they turn to a show that in some respects is a “reverse Breaking Bad.” HBO’s dark comedy “Barry” explores the life of a bored assassin whose lust for a “regular” life is sparked by a visit to Los Angeles, and (some very dark) hilarity ensues!

Jerome and Kevin discuss Bill Hader, how they discovered the show, and go through the first Season episode by episode. Throughout the discussion they sing the praises of Henry Winkler, Stephen Root, D’Arcy Carden and Anthony Carrigan, talk about how some of the more understated acting makes for the best moments, and the problematic nature of some character choices, especially with hindsight!

The Superhero Pantheon: ‘Endgame’ (and Jupiter’s Legacy)

Jerome and Brian have been doing some version of this show for three years, and it’s time to rest for a bit. This is the season finale as Jerome and Brian reflect on their time and also preview what is to come in the world of superheroes.
