8 Takeaways from the Black Panther Episode of Fantastic Four

In the rush to make as many Marvel animated series as possible, a much-forgotten Fantastic Four series happened and even had two full seasons. One of the show’s 26 episodes devoted the entire story to The Black Panther. To the best of my knowledge (limited), it’s the first significant portrayal of the Black Panther on the small screen. This Season, a now sober Brockmire navigates life in Florida, having to share the booth once again, and coming to terms with Jules and Charles no longer a part of his life.

The hosts discuss probably the worst episode of the series, how some characters are “done dirty”, the roles that homosexuality, religion, and cancer play in the season, the addition of a big named actor to the cast, and most importantly, Clemenza!

11 Takeaways from the Pryde of the X-Men Pilot

This pilot was the first attempt by anyone to make a full-on X-Men television show. The episode is absolutely insane for reasons we will get into. This world was not ready for it though, and the pilot was tragically not picked up. Matt Waters and I discussed this project and other X-Men related cartoons!
