Best League Member?
Superman got the best story by far from the actual members of the League. He did some armchair parenting towards Bruce. He got his worthy punishment, as some dark wizards used their spells on him. He went psycho. Then he was saved and actually acted like how Superman should act in crisis and got a bunch of shit done. Good stuff!
Weak Link?
Yikes! Getting turned into zombie fodder is some serious B-player shit! This really just captures that this entry is a Teen Titans movie with Justice League in the title. Batman got some stuff to do, and Superman actually having to authentically deal with his major weakness. Weak sauce on these ones though.
Worthy Villain?
Wizards are Superman’s biggest weakness and some dark wizards actually did some shit so that Superman briefly went into Beast Mode. This is good stuff and not at all the issue with the film!
Recommendation?
The teens were REALLY grating in this one and in some ways were the true enemy of the movie. It’s a Teen Titans film much more than anything else, and I think I just learned that I never want to watch Teen Titans. Thumbs Down.
