Before Season 4 began to air, the Writers Guild of America went on strike. Kevin and Ben reminisce about this period, the incredible foresight the writers and producers of the show had, the support of the producers and cast, and how it affected LOST for the rest of the shows duration.

Ben Linus’ unique flash forward sheds some light on his relationship with Charles Widmore, with the on Island story foretelling how they reached this point with a tragic character loss. While LOST fans had to wait an agonizing eight months between the 3rd and 4th season, the show didn’t go completely radio silent. Thirteen 2-3 minute Mobisodes (what the heck are Mobisodes?) were delviered to fill in some missing pieces to parts of Seasons 1 through 3 to whet the fans appetite. Kevin and Ben discuss all thirteen, whether they were effective, and which are the ones worth seeking out.

Additionally, Ubisoft produced a LOST video game that came out early in Season 4. Kevin played through the entirety of the game for the first time, giving his thoughts on the experience and whether it is a worthy companion piece to the show, while Ben provides his input having played the game when it was initially released.

With the show being half way completed (in terms of Seasons, anyway) the duo felt it was a good time to talk about the state of the show at its midway point, discussing how far it had come since Season 1, copycats, etc., all while answering questions from YOU the listeners!
