Ranking the Star Wars Television Seasons

I have a sickness. I really deeply love the idea of Star Wars. I also love the original three films of course, but the idea of Star Wars is something I find intoxicating, and I have spent an ordinate amount of time reading novels and comics and watching movies and shows that almost entirely prove…that the idea of Star Wars should have died in 1983. It’s all a long way to say that I have accepted that Star Wars is functionally not good no matter how much I wish it was. But sometimes you need to kill time with garbage on in the background and that is what the Disney+ Star Wars shows are for.

Ranking the Danny McBride Television Shows

Danny McBride is not an artist I have ever been especially drawn to over the years. Whenever I dipped my toe into his world, I never felt like it was for me. Ranking the Ryan Coogler Films

Ryan Coogler has pretty much always had the reputation as a talented (if not great) filmmaker despite some of the shortcomings of his films. The one unquestionably disappointing part of his career is that he has been stuck in IP hell. The first film that can be considered a truly original film (depending on how you classify Fruitvale) from Coogler was his fifth film. Hopefully its success means he will no longer be caught up in the shenanigans of Hollywood nonsense.

Ranking the Terminator Films

The biggest problem with the Terminator franchise overall is that of the six films, only two of the films were made by a notably talented director. They keep putting hacks in there and get a variety of the mediocre results. You can give this franchise credit for one thing: they keep making mistakes in brand new ways.

Ranking the Abbott Elementary Seasons

Abbott Elementary is a very critically successful show and is winning lots of awards. I was hesitant to check out the show due to the fact that a show about teaching in a United States city is something I have been doing for a long time, and I just assumed the show would annoy me more than entertain me.
