There was once a time where LOST was so hot that a fictionalized novel based off a manuscript in the show cracked the New York Times and Amazon best seller list. Kevin tracked down a copy of the book and gave it a read. Kevin and Ben discuss the relevance of the book to the show (or lack thereof), the connections it makes, and whether or not it’s worth your while. This leads into a discussion about other fandoms and the relevance of their tertiary properties to their overall lore.
Then it’s on to the penultimate episode of Season 3 where the beloved Charlie Pace comes to terms with his destiny and decides to chronicle his “Greatest Hits” before doing so. The other survivors prepare for an ambush of the Others which hopefully could be the beginning of the end of their life on the Island.
